I had Outlook Express on my Compaq Presario that ran under Windows XP that I used for my emails. I got a new Toshiba laptop and I can't fine OE on it. What does Toshiba use for email software? Do I need to install another software application?

The make and model of your laptop computer does not have anything to do with the programs that you run. It is the PC’s operating system that is importan. There are several MS OSs, including Windows XP and the various versions of Vista; there are different variations of Linux operating systems; and of course there are the different Mac OSs.
It sounds to me that your laptop came with Vista and I don’t think that Outlook Express comes installed with that. Try running Mozilla Thunderbird for your email client instead of the standard MS crap. Also take a look at Eudora. You might be pleasantly surprised.
