Panasonic Corporation is a multinational electronics firm that is based in Kadoma, Japan. It was originally founded as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., but branded its' products under the Panasonic name in 2003 and officially changed its' name to Panasonic Corporation in 2008. Their primary consumer electronics products fall under the Panasonic and Technics brand names.
Panasonic line of laptop computers is presented as the Toughbook line. They are geared towards the business and technical markets, and to a lesser extend the consumer market, and are characterized by their 'rugged' product labeling.
