I am looking at either a Dell Inspiron e1405 or the Inspiron e1505 on eBay. The e1405 is about a pound lighter so it will be easier to carry around. In a laptop computer, I'd like a good sized widescreen (14 or more inches), light weight for some travel, good wi-fi connectivity and good audio. In addition to surfing the web, I'd also need it to run Photoshop...but not a lot as most of that will be done on my desktop. Your opinions would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Technically, both of these laptop computers are comparable. However, as you note, the e1405 is very small and lightweight so some of the funcionality has to be sacrificed. The main problem with this is that many people find using the small keyboard on the e1405 difficult.
