Author: I have a new Sony Vaio and an HDMI cable and I'd like to connect it to my Mitsubishi Hi-Def 1080 TV set. However, the Mitsubishi gives me an error message saying it doesn't recognize the signal. What should I do? I'm trying to use the TV as a monitor for gaming.

How can I disable the Sony Vaio start up sound? Not the windows start up, but the actual start up / power on sound / jingle that is the first thing you hear when you turn on a Sony Vaio.
I'm planning on getting my first laptop computer, but I don't know anything about them. However, I've always been very happy with any Sony product that I've owned so my friend suggested a Sony Vaio laptop computer. I don't want to blow the bank on this and I always thought that the Sony Vaio laptop computers were high end in performance and price. How is the Sony Vaio as far a getting what you pay for. Is it strictly a high end, performance laptop computer or is it more of a consumer model?
